TICKETING FAQs

WHERE CAN I BUY MY FESTIVAL PASS/TICKET?

Festival passes (wristbands) and single-day tickets will be available to purchase via Starticket.cr. Festival passes/ single-day tickets will also be available for purchase (subject to availability) at the BPM box office in Tamarindo.

It is advised to purchase your festival passes/tickets in advance as prices will increase with each tier, tickets are available while supplies last and prices will be higher at the box office in Tamarindo and at the gates in Playa Avellanas.

WHAT TYPE OF FESTIVAL PASSES/TICKETS ARE OFFERED?

There are 3 types of general admission entry accreditations for the Costa Rica 2025 event:

  • A 5-Day Festival Pass is valid for the entire event which takes place from January 8th-12th, 2025. The 5-Day Festival Pass increases in price with each tier, however,the validity is the same for any 5-Day Festival Pass.
  • A 3-Day Weekend Pass is valid for the weekend dates of the event which takes place from January 10th-12th, 2025. The 3-Day Weekend Pass increases in price with each tier, however, the validity is the same for any 3-Day Weekend Pass.

Both Festival Pass types include access to all daytime and nighttime events. Daytime events may be subject to legal capacity, Festival Pass holders will receive priority access.

  • The Single-Day Ticket is valid only for the day that is stated on your ticket. There are Single-Day Tickets for January 8th, January 9th, January 10th, January 11th, and January 12th. The Single-Day Ticket increases in price with each tier, however, the validity is the same and will be honored for the date that is stated on the ticket.

HOW CAN I PICK UP MY WRISTBAND?

Please have a government photo-issued ID and confirmation (e-ticket) at Will Call. The name on both confirmation/ticket and ID must match in order to retrieve the wristband.

WHAT TYPE OF ID IS REQUIRED FOR THE GUANACASTE RESIDENT DISCOUNT?

The Guanacaste discount is available only to those who are residents of the Guanacaste region. For entry to the event with a Pass/Ticket with the discounted price, it’s required to show the government-issued ID, which clearly states residency in Guanacaste. If a Pass/Ticket is purchased with the Guanascate discount, but fail to provide the proper government documentation sustaining your residence, the difference from a regular Pass/Ticket must be paid to retrieve your entry admission. The difference to pay will be based on the Pass/Ticket price at the time at the Box Office.

CAN A FRIEND PICK UP MY WRISTBAND FOR ME?

No, only the person whose name is on the confirmation/ticket can pick up the wristband.

CAN I GIVE MY WRISTBAND TO A FRIEND?

No, any evidence of a wristband being tampered with will be refused entry and could lead to confiscation of the wristband.

CAN I GET MY WRISTBAND REPLACED?

No, The BPM Festival is not responsible for replacing a wristband in the event of damage, loss, theft, etc.

CAN I BUY MY WRISTBAND FROM A “FRIEND”/3RD PARTY/SCALPER AND CAN I VERIFY IF THE PASS/ TICKET IS VALID?

No, The BPM Festival holds the right to refuse customer service to anyone who buys from a 3rd party/scalper.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: UPON ENTRY AND DURING THE EVENT

The BPM Festival reserves the right to refuse entry or remove anyone from the event whose behavior is unruly or illegal in any manner. Any evidence of fraud, theft or illegal activity, the person will be removed and passes/ tickets will be voided and no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

WHAT ARE THE ACCEPTED METHODS OF PAYMENT FOR THE FESTIVAL PASSES/TICKETS?

Starticket accepts all major credit cards and debit cards. Also Paypal and Cryptocurrency are available based on the purchase amount. The available payment options are made clear as you go through the check-out process.

WHERE IS THE EVENT LOCATED?

Our new Jungle and Beach stages are located in Playa Avellanas. We will also host additional events in Tamarindo.

WHERE SHOULD I STAY?

We recommend staying in Tamarindo or Playa Avellanas.

IS THERE TRANSPORT TO THE EVENT?

Yes. Shuttle buses will be available to and from Tamarindo and the festival site in Playa Avellanas. More information is coming soon.

 

 

Terms & Conditions

  • Entry for 18 yrs and older.
  • Valid government-issued photo ID will be required to retrieve your purchase.
  • Everyone is subject to search upon entry to the venue.
  • Lineup/ set times are subject to change. No refund will be offered in case of lineup/set time changes.
  • Festival wristbands are to be worn at all times during the event.
  • Festival wristbands are not transferable.
  • Festival wristbands will be voided if they are visibly tampered with or removed.
  • ALL SALES ARE FINAL. No refunds and/or exchanges will be honored.
  • Each person is allowed to purchase a maximum of four (4) passes/tickets at any given time. If more passes/tickets are purchased by one person, the tickets will be canceled.
  • Festival passes/tickets purchased through a 3rd party/scalper will not be honored by The BPM Festival and/or Starticket under any circumstances.
  • There will be no Customer Support for anyone who purchased through a 3rd party/scalper. The original purchaser will not be eligible for a refund, exchange and/or transfer.
  • The original purchaser of the Festival Pass/ Ticket must be present at Will Call with a valid government-issued photo ID (Passport, Driver’s License and/or Residence Card). If the name on the Festival Pass/Ticket does not match with the name on the government-issued photo ID, the Festival Pass/Ticket will not be issued and no refund, exchange and/or transfer will be honored.
  • The BPM Festival holds the right to cancel any order without previous notification if fraudulent activity is detected.
  • The BPM Festival is not responsible for any Festival Pass/Ticket and/or wristband that is lost, damaged or stolen.
  • Once a purchase has been made on Ticketstar.cr, the customer will receive a payment confirmation email and an e-ticket shortly after on a separate email. If you do not see your order confirmation and/or email with the e-ticket, please check your Spam/Junk folder. The BPM Festival will not refund any order that was processed, sent and received correctly but not checked thoroughly and correctly by the customer. It’s the responsibility of the customer to check their own email account for the email confirmation and/or email with the e-ticket.
  • For any technical issues with the website including problems with payments, confirmations and/or e-tickets, please contact Ticketstar at soporte@starticket.cror via Starticket WhatsApp linked on their website.
  • Once a purchase is completed with Ticketstar, the customer is agreeing to all the T&Cs of The BPM Festival.
