We’re excited to welcome you to Portimão and Lagoa for the first edition of The BPM Festival: Portugal!

To make sure you don’t miss out on the party, see the information below for getting to and from our hosts municipalities of Lagoa andPortimão.


MTS Travel are providing safe and reliable ground transportation to and from Centro de Congressos Do Arade. MTS Travel shuttles will operate each day of the festival on a continuous loop, stopping at 3 points in Praia Da Rocha every 20 minutes.

Please note that there are a limited amount of places available for this service and recommend you buy in advance to guarantee a safe and reliable journey.




Limited parking spaces are available each night at €10 per night, payable on arrival at Centro De Congressos Do Arade.

OXIA Delivers Another Mega BPM Podcast

After delivering one of our most popular BPM podcasts of last year, Diversions Music co-label head OXIA is back on the decks for the BPM podcast! Kicking off the year at The BPM Festival, 2017 saw OXIA continue his never-ending hot streak with appearances at Music On, Heart Miami, Egg London and his own Diversions label nights in Beirut and Paris. 2017 also saw OXIA's 2006 smash hit "Domino" leapfrogged back into the forefront of underground dance music as it was remixed by the likes Matador, Frankey & Sandrino, and Robag Wruhme. As one of France's most respected DJs, OXIA keeps on pushing the boundaries new remixes also including Moby's classic tune "Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad."

Having played nearly every edition of The BPM Festival, we’re extremely excited to have Stereo Productions’ label heads Chus & Ceballos join us for our first edition of The BPM Festival: Portugal! Heading west from Spain to Portugal, Chus & Ceballos always bring their signature sound of drums and are no stranger to bringing the party with their career spanning over 20 years of DJing and producing.

Moon Harbour Label Boss Matthias Tanzmann Shares his BPM Podcast

Playing his fifth consecutive edition of The BPM Festival, Matthias Tanzmann makes his debut on the BPM podcast with exclusive mix for the BPM podcast! With a career beginning in the mid-nineties in his hometown of Leipzig, Germany, Matthias Tanzmann has been on a roll in defining his underground identity as a solo artist, head of Moon Harbour Recordings, and as part of supergroup, Better Lost Than Stupid with David Squillace and Martin Buttrich. On the touring and live front, Matthias has kept a busy summer schedule with festival appearances including Tomorrowland and We Are FSTVL plus sets on the White Isle for Music On, ANTS, Paradise, and Circoloco, where he is a resident.
